OPEN CALL: INTERNATIONAL FILM WORKSHOP WITH KAROLINA BIELAWSKA ORGANIZED BY filmPOLSKA 2017, Berlin – May 4–10, 2017

filmPOLSKA: KINOEDUKACJA 2017 calls for participation in the film workshop taking place from May 4–10, 2017 (10am–6pm) in Berlin-Mitte. The workshop will be led by Karolina Bielawska.
Bielawska is a Polish director and scriptwriter, born in 1978 in Zakopane. She directed among others “Call Me Marianna”, a subtly narrated documentary about a woman in the process of finalizing her sex-change operation.
The workshop is open for everyone and will be held in English. Up to twelve participants will be guided through the whole process of filmmaking. Furthermore the participants will be granted with access to every filmPOLSKA screening during the festival week.
There is an expense contribution of 50 euro.
